Mixing & Matching Menus
We understand that sometimes making a decision on a menu, that one of our private chefs is going to cook for you, is a tough process especially with so many different delicious delicacies available. This decision can become even tougher when you invite others to get involved and sometimes a compromise is needed.
Here at Dineindulge we’ve introduced a Mix & Match option for our guests meaning you can now combine our menus to match anyone’s needs. This can be done pre or post booking, so if you’re not yet ready to commit to your menu then you can secure your date by paying a £60 deposit against any quote and then speak with the events team post booking to make your changes.
Before you start we’d like to remind you that all our menus are carefully created so the dishes within them compliment one another, but if there is something that doesn’t fit your taste buds then we can help. However, we’d advise you pick a foundation menu and look to swap in items that fit within the menu theme rather than creating your own menu from scratch using random items across our selection.
Note. you can’t create your own dishes, you must select from dishes available in our Express, Indulge, Deluxe & Platter categories – www.dineindulge.co.uk/menus
Firstly, you need to consider the pricing. The general rule is that if you’re choosing one item per course then the Express prices will apply and if two options per course then the Indulge prices will apply. However, if you’re selecting items from our Premium menus then regardless of how many items per course you’ve chosen, you could end up paying Premium prices. Furthermore, if you choose a menu that is deemed expensive from a food costs stand point, such as combing pork tenderloin and fillet steak as your two meat mains, then additional supplement charges will apply.
Secondly, you can’t replace (V) labelled options on a menu with meat options as vegetarian options are often additionally added to a menu to specifically accommodate vegetarians.
Thirdly, remember to check with the catering team and confirm that they are happy to provide the menu you have put together. They do have the final say, and if they feel that the menu you’ve selected simply won’t work then they will ask you to rethink it and they’ll suggest alternative options.
Finally, if you’re generally happy with one of our set menus on the whole (which 95% of our clients are) but you require a small adjustment making to one of the dishes then our catering team can make such adjustments e.g a change of sauce or topping.
