Press Round Up 2018
by Vanessa
What a year it’s been! We’re so grateful for the support we have received from the media and our affiliate partners.
Here’s a look back at what we’ve been up to.
National & International Press
We had the pleasure of collaborating with our luxury accommodation partners to provide a special added extra for any weekend away.
Steve Hogarty from City AM spent a long weekend on the Suffolk Coast at Trimley Lodge, courtesy of Mulberry Cottages, and enjoyed our Deluxe Signature menu.
The famous hotel inspector Alex Polizzi went deep into the forest to visit the cosy lodges at Forest Holidays on behalf of The Daily Mail. As a family friendly service, we provided a chef to cook for Alex’s friends and family including small children which left them all in a “marvellous mood.”
To round off a year of staycations, Angelina Villa-Clarke enjoyed a weekend with Mulberry Cottages in the Kent countryside at the stunning Sandi Lodge. In her review for Forbes, Angelina recommends Dineindulge private experience to provide a restaurant quality experience and take all the hard work out of cooking for yourself.
Across the channel, the lovely Rachel from French Moments highly recommended our service for anyone planning a holiday in France or any of our 9 European countries. The affordable menus and ease of having a private chef are just a couple of the reasons why Rachel describes Dineindulge as a “wonderful concept.”
From national to regional publications, everyone wanted a piece of the action. The fantastic team at The Bristol Magazine reviewed our service and showed us a lot of love on social media. Big thank you to Amanda Nicholls for making this happen! Rebecca Younger, Editor in Chief of Surrey Life, also had lovely words to say about her holiday add on experience at Surrey Hills Barn.
Finally, we were excited to be involved with the Delicious Magazine “Cook the Recipe” competition where one lucky reader received a complimentary private chef experience. Sheila and her friends enjoyed their dinner in November and gave it a top 5 star rating!
Influencers
This year we made it our mission to collaborate with a group of carefully selected bloggers who’s work we admire and had been following for some time. The result? A masterpiece of beautiful dishes created by our finest chefs which were styled and photographed by some of the most talented photographers and influencers in the industry.
With a dedicated and highly engaged audience, the wedding marketing was a natural place for us to spread the message about the ease of booking a private chef to cater for large groups.
When Claire from The Hen Planner headed to Pendragon House in Bath for a real life hen party, she enlisted the help of our private chefs to make it a memorable event. We loved the dinner party styling and stunning images taken by Phoebe of So You’re Getting Married who enjoyed her experience so much, she also featured us in her lifestyle blog Simply Weekend. Emily from Bespoke Bride showed us you can never have too many celebrations at her Bridal Luncheon which featured stunning bespoke Dineindulge artwork!
At the start of the year, there was one food blogger in particular we had our eye on and we were thrilled when Michelle from Greedy Gourmet invited us around to celebrate her birthday. Armed with a case of Naked Wines to make it that little bit more special, we set about creating a luxurious 5 course menu offering for Michelle and her friends. As a professional photographer by day, it’s no surprise the resulting images were one of our highlights.
The team at Dineindulge love to get involved with charitable causes and we jumped at the chance to be involved in an intimate dinner hosted by the lovely Amanda of Ginger Mum Style. This was all in aid of a fantastic cause, launching the new range of Love Specs, the proceeds of which support the charity Love Support Unite offering sustainable development in Malawi.
What a year we’ve had! It’s been a lot of fun meeting some fantastic people and we’re excited to do it all again next year. See you in 2019!
