Henry was lovely and very accommodating, however, he did not realise that a vegan was attending the party and unfortunately vegan food was not provided. This meant that I myself had to arrange food for the vegan member of the party, which lead to my food being cold when I managed to find time to eat it. Also, throughout the evening I had to serve and clear most of the plates while the chef finished plating up. I was advised that this would be required a couple of days before the event, however, it should be made clear from the offset on the Poptops and Dineindulge website that for large groups you are required to provide your own waiting on staff. Once again I\'d like to say that Henry was an excellent chef, and our party loved him. I believe it\'s the above communication breakdowns that have caused the problem.

From the time I originally booked through to the departure of Chef Simon the service has been excellent and the quality of food and presentation superb.

DineIndulge was sold to me as the \'go to\' site,which took care of the whole experience,from start to finish. The chef and his food were excellent. The problem was that 3 people didn\'t get the main course they ordered and 1 of these was unable to eat what they were given. I had specifically asked Calum and others previously if they could give me a list of what people had ordered, as the choices had been made many weeks before. Apparently this list was not necessary,as the chef would have the details. He didn\'t, only a summary of courses,by numbers. This lead to a hugely embarrassing episode,for chef and diners, during which meals were almost traded to fit diners. One lady ordered lamb but could only be given fish,which she could not eat. Managing the experince ?? You gave me an overall summary the week before,with 16 main courses recorded for 15 diners...your people hadn\'t spotted that. They then went away,supposedly, to check back to the orders and present a list of who was missing and which courses,to which I promply supplied the details. I found your site, whcih supposedly let me manage the event totally lacking in any useful detail.When I asked for updates on who had replied,who was outstanding (hoping I could access that myself from your website,but not) I was told that that information couldn\'t be given to me. The chef was impressive but his tip on the night was seriously marked down by the foul up with the main courses. Overall I am unimpressed with your performance with this whole \'experience\' and I am looking for a refund to reflect the downer you put on my wife\'s 70th Birthday Celebration. Stewart Grainger

Unfortunately it was not stated which of the canapés were gluten free, whilst the vegetarian option was presented on a separate plate, all the others on the same platter. We had to ask the chef which ones were GF. Other than that we had a great night.

Great food, lovely experience

Our chef helped to make a brilliant evening for our Murder Mystery evening. The tapas menu was excellent, and service was really great.

Our chef Luca was amazing! All dishes were outstanding and were all explained at each course. He catered to our needs when we needed to delay the food slightly nothing was ever a problem. He’s a great chef thank you Luca!

Fantastic experience. Each dish served was mouth watering. Bart was professional, friendly and all round nice guy and certainly knows how to cook. If your ever thinking of trying out a Private Chef for the evening then I highly recommend it

The food was all presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Angel was very friendly, professional and left the kitchen spotless - I would definitely recommend! The only slight disappointment I had was that the options for pudding were both quite "heavy" and similar (a tart & a crumble) and we would have preferred a lighter option (like a creme brulee etc). Gee came for an evening of my friends hen do. He was friendly but unobtrusive. We carried on our evening while he was cooking the most amazing meal for us. We went for the Italian inspired cuisine that looked as good as it tasted. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will definitely be using the service again

The communication with Dine Indulge was faultless and they were very easy to contact with any questions. Dylan our Chef arrived on time and was excellent in every respect. The food was brilliant and Dylan was very personable and a pleasure to have in our home. I could not recommend him enough to anyone considering this route for a birthday or other celebration. It really is a case of bringing a restaurant experience to your home if not better.

Booked this for my 60th birthday. Had the 9 course menu. Chef punctual and well prepared. Food delicious and well presented . Would definitely book again

Was a lovely meal and great food. Disappointed that the requirement for a gluten free sticky toffee pudding was overlooked, resulting in guests having to swap desserts so that the coeliac guest could have a pudding but apart from that was a great experience

We had a great time with our chef who was friendly and explained all the dishes and how they were adapted for gluten free. We have marked down the food taste more because of how it suited our tastes - nothing to do with how they were made or presented. We found the first amuse sweet as the start of savoury courses - but it was well done by chef. The egg soldiers were amazing. The Mac and cheese Bonbons could have been more cheesy for our tastes especially in contrast to the excellent steak. The two desserts were lovely and well presented.
