Even with 2 vegans and a gluten free guest, we had a few complications picking from various menus, but dineindulge adjusted things to our needs and reassured us on every query, even arranging for chef to arrive early to fit in with our surprise event. Everyone loved it. Utterly professional chefs and totally hassle free. Would use again. Only small complaint was that the dishes were quite cold by the time they were served but it didn\'t detract from the experience.

Mark was likeable, professional and competent. He arrived on time with all of his culinary requirements. He managed our 2 oven aga beautifully (not easy) - and his food was truly delicious - particularly the lamb and the egg and soldiers. We would definitely dineindulge again

This feels impossible to review as a whole, but as I have been asked to before resolving a complaint, which I do find strange, I will do. I would prefer to rate the experience separately, to be honest. Our chef, Julian, was 5 star! He was so lovely, professional and an incredibly talented chef! However, my experience with dine indulge has unfortunately not been the same. To have a challenge in menu choices to start with, for them to then be communicated incorrectly to the chef and not being what we ordered, was quite honestly disappointing. The chef was so disappointed himself and felt he’d done us a disservice, but that’s a real shame he had to apologise for dine indulge’s mistake. For the money we’ve paid, there should have been no mistakes made, a real let down. I am also still struggling to understand, for the price people are paying, to not have more flexibility in choice. Nothing I had originally asked for was unreasonable, but as you said rules are rules, so we went with that and then didn’t get our final choices anyway. Chef Julian however, more than made up for those mistakes, and we thank him so much for a lovely evening and outstanding food. It’s a real shame none of us enjoyed the dessert as not our preferred taste, which I will stress again, was absolutely not his fault, but sadly most went to waste. Again just disappointing to not have what we had expected. I think we all just felt incredibly uncomfortable by the situation, and I’m sure not the experience you would want your clients to have. The food we did eat was 5* and it was a pleasure to have Julian cook for us. Could not fault his professionalism and left kitchen spotlessly clean afterwards. It would feel wrong to rate the overall experience lower than a 4, but that is because of the Chef and not the overall experience.
