Hello, the food was great but we were very frustrated with how late the chef was to arrive. It was only because I called the company when it was a half hour past when he was supposed to show up to find out his arrival time. I had to call and email a few times before I could get an answer. Then I was told his gps broke and he couldn’t call a US number. However he could have called Sophie who called me and could have given her an update to call me. It was still around hour before he actually arrived. He was in total 2 hours late. We had to end up making an alternate meal for the children because they were starving.

I have to say this experience has left me and my friends speechless. It was a beautiful evening and the chef left quite an impression on us all. Very pleased with the service and I would recommend to all my friends. Loved the experience from the start when making the booking to the very end.

This was the first time we had hired a private chef and we would definitely do so again. Our Chef Cayetano was superb, his love of cooking and food was contagious, the food was amazing. We had many different dietary requirements amongst the family and all of them were meet with such care. A huge thank you to Cayetano and his assistant Irene. Due to unfortunate circumstances the chef arrived 35 minutes late and alone, which we felt put unnecessary pressure on him. To ask one person to present 5 courses to 9 people was too much to ask. We felt he should have had an assistant/sous chef to ease the pressure. We have no complaints about the chef, he did his best in the circumstances, but he apologised a few times which suggests he wasn’t happy with the service he was providing. However, we, the guests enjoyed the meal and showed our appreciation.

Our chef was great, lovely presentation and tasty food. Difficulty with getting steaks cooked to preference with 2 hobs, maybe consider chef bringing own hot plate/gas cooker to help in this situation. Otherwise very pleased.

Stan was FABULOUS! He was so polite and wonderful. We had the most incredible dinner overlooking vineyards after a day of wine tasting in Aix-en-Provence. The entire experience from ease of booking to relaxing with a 5 star meal to not having to lift a finger to clean was unreal. Highly recommend across the board!
