I have had to put the overall experience rating as average as there was so many inconsistencies throughout the experience. Your rating scale is so high level and I can’t show the discrepancies throughout all aspects of the night and meal. This is very difficult to rate as you can look at it from a multitude of angles. As discussed, the experience I had in comparison to my neighbours was like night and day, and you as a company must see that too? I am not going to bad mouth Philippe through this rating as there was lots of nice points to the evening. My neighbours had a wow factor fine dining experience, whereas I had a nice meal cooked by a very nice chef. Your website and corporate video shows a fine dining experience. Being a keen cook myself and appreciating good food and restaurants, this was a nice meal, but definitely not fine dining. Looking at the individual courses: The amuse was definitely not an amuse because it was too big, also the strawberries weren’t pickled which was stated in the menu. Nobody could see or taste spiced orange jell in the duck starter, but I was told by my guests that it tasted nice even though it was missing. You will see it’s not there in the picture I sent over. The ravioli tasted nice but it wasn’t ravioli, it was deconstructed. The menu didn’t stated deconstructed so my father’s expectation was to get a piece of ravioli. Both the presentation of the duck and ravioli was fine. I can’t speak for the fish course as I forgot to take a picture, but the steak did taste nice. The menu stated Mac & cheese bon Bon’s with the steak, there wasn’t bon bons, just one big dry pasta ball which I couldn’t eat. The presentation of this dish was terrible and if I was to rate the dishes individually, the presentation of this dish would be a 1. It definitely wasn’t fine dining like your company promotes. The eggs and solders, why call it eggs and solders if it’s not going to look like eggs and solders? I think we all ate the pineapple, but barely any of us could eat the rest, it wasn’t nice and too sickly. The presentation of the desserts were absolutely fine, and they tasted nice too. Again, good pub standard but not fine dining. I would book philippe again direct for the overall taste of his food, but not for a fine dining experience. Attention to detail is important with fine dining and there was complete inconsistencies of this throughout the experience. Little things like my husbands plate having prawns on it when we stated he didn’t eat seafood, and there wasn’t an alternative amuse for my mother in law as she doesn’t like or eat cheese due to issues with her stomach. Why ask if there’s any dietary requirements if you aren’t going to alter the menu accordingly for such requests? The kitchen was surface clean but definitely not left as it was found as there was spillages on the floor and down the units. The toffee sauce in particular took me a while to remove from my cupboard fronts the next again day. I get that you would give chefs a certain degree of autonomy to showcase their talents but I have shown several people my experience photos against my neighbours and they all completely understand why I am SO disappointed with my fine dining experience after really looking at the night as a whole, and in full detail the following day. I have recent all the photos that I took that evening, as well as my neighbours. If you do give your chefs recipes and menu guidance for each of your 20+ menus and certain guidelines with regards to plating and presentation, you will see with your own eyes why I’m disappointed with my fine dining experience as a whole. The whole experience was very professional and straightforward. Dineindulge accommodated all our requests in advance of the event. Andy, the chef, was just brilliant. He turned up on time, was very friendly and reassuring and made the most delicious and beautiful dishes. He described all the courses to the guests and cleaned up after the dinner. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Andy was a wonderful chef who added to the evening ambience in a subtle but lovely way. We had the Tapas selection which had a good quantity of food followed by two incredible desserts again with great quantity. Everything was tidied away as described and communication was very simple
Food was delicious and Johno was really good company and friendly. However, I felt like it was a two person job really. I was disappointed that a couple of members of the party had to help out with the serving, we’d expected this to be included as part of the service. Otherwise, can’t fault Johno’s food or attitude!

Our chef was really professional, polite and personable - the food was gorgeous and both he and his assistant blended into the background so we barely knew they were even there! I would not hesitate to recommend him to other customers!

We were very impressed by Chef Sam! He masterminded 19 Signature five course meals, including vegetarians and children, with quiet good humour and slick professionalism. On his own, he served, presented each dish, washed up and left the kitchen spotless! We would certainly use DineIndulge again and will recommend them to everyone we know.
We really enjoyed the delicious food that Yifu provided. He was professional & friendly. He tidied up very well & left the space spotlessly clean (using up all our Kleenex!!)

Some really good meals and presentation held back by main (overcooked ribeye and lacked colour) and by desert (choc fudge just far too heavy as a 5th course) overall nice experience but not blown away to consider repeating
