The dining experience has been the best food experience of our lives. The 9 course meal was absolutely superb and the aren\'t words to begin to describe how happy we were with the service.

I was very unhappy with the canapés. They were exceptionally small and far too expensive for what they were. The crisp bread for the mackerel canapé was just like a ryvita thin and the duck was a pate as opposed to a piece of duck. While they tasted nice it is ridiculous to expect anyone to pay £10.99 a head for them ( a £1 discount to the usual £11.99!). My guests were exceptionally surprised when I told them how much they cost and I was upset that my extra ‘surprise’ was so disappointing. The starter and the main course were again tasty and presented beautifully, but far too small on portion size. Three average sized prawns is not adequate for a sautéed shrimp dish. Neither is two very small lamb cutlets for the main course. I really think that the portion sizes need to be addressed. I look forward to receiving your response and an offer of compensation.

Fortunato was instrumental in ensuring the success of our dinner - not only did the food look and taste AMAZING - but his personality, kindness, and sense of humour completely made our evening. Roberto and his helper were both absolutely amazing from start to finish! They really went the extra mile to ensure our meal was perfect. They couldn’t do enough for us and included many extra touches that enhanced the meal. The communication both before and on the day was great and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients was impressive, the locally sourced figs and Canadian maple syrup were lovely touches. If we ever return to Italy we would definitely book Roberto again, he made a milestone birthday extremely special. Thank you!

Our chef was very amenable, professional, discrete, arrived on time and got on with very little fuss - so perfect for what we wanted. The food was tasty but perhaps lacked some of the finesse we were led to believe it would have - the crispy leeks weren’t crispy and the pomme Anna was under seasoned and not herby as described. All round thought we were pleased with the service and would consider using it again.

Ben was charming and cooked a delicious meal - truly outstanding I terms of both taste and presentation. He made the table look beautiful and the food equally so. We would highly recommend him.
