Not quite the experience we have had previously. Food was great and chef nice but limited communication from him and his helper, no introduction of the food etc.. One course was burnt and was un servable but this wasn’t explained, we had to ask.

Thank you for an evening to remember. I cannot praise our Chef Johno highly enough . He was courteous professional and friendly. The food tasted as good as it looked and Johno didn’t stop all night, the kitchen was spotless when he finished, we felt truely spoiled. Chef and waitress were fantastic. Food was lovely, only slight negative was the steak cuts were a bit fatty but the wine jus was incredible! Super day and will be using this service again!

The sticky toffee pudding was a bit of a let down as there was no sticky toffee sauce at all? Wasn’t sure if this was forgotten? That was the reason for a 4 not a 5. Thank you

Lovely people. Prompt and professional. Left the kitchen spotless. Food good but not brilliant. Would prefer not to have 2 desserts.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience with Justin, and would definitely use your service again, and recommend it to other people. Particularly with the pandemic, it was so nice to be able to have a restaurant experience in the comfort of our home. We were also impressed with the cleaning and tidying up afterwards making it a very relaxing experience!

Johno was a fantastic chef and really made this a wonderful experience. From explaining the different courses to us, where the produce came from and spending time wrapping/prepping the additional meals for us to have the next day. A great experience and we would definitely book him again!

Had to advise chef within hours of his arrival that the oven would not work in the house we had hired. He took it in his stride and the food was perfect and him calm and unfazed - can’t thank him enough for not letting this ruin our celebration. Would thoroughly recommend Simon to anyone.

It really was very good. Will use again. However the potato salad tasted as if the potatoes had been cooked the day before. Also my sister was being friendly and joking around with the chef at the end and the chef got a bit over familiar and put his arm around her and called her darling which made her feel uncomfortable.

Paul did a fantastic job. The food was delicious. Served beautifully and on time. He was very prompt, polite, clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our bbq.

Iain was very punctual! Very confident friendly and chatty. Very comfortable is his own skin. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous! Would certainly recommend hinks in trunks to friends and family for future parties and occasions.

Alister was terrific! His interactions with the dining table were timely, brief, succinct and humorous. Our guests were phenomenally impressed. And the best part, he left my kitchen spotless!!! Can’t fault anything!
