Starters could have been more exciting. Fillet steaks were marvellous. Braised cabbage only is not acceptable as description was seasonal veg. Desserts were rich but beautifully presented. Unfortunately chef forgot the prawns and had to go to Cheltenham to fetch them,despite trying to buy them locally.. Ellerman was very friendly and personable especially good with the children.

James was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, he was extremely friendly and gave us all a wonderful evening. To top it all off he left the place spotless when he left! I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to celebrate a special occasion

Was disappointed that the chef bought ready made veggie patties from the supermarket. We didn’t have a sorbet between the courses either. Food was good but definitely not a tasting menu.

From the moment the chef arrived at 2.30pm until he left at nearly midnight, he worked non stop & left the kitchen sparkling. The food was superb! Jordan was fabulous, polite and friendly and thoroughly entertaining. He was a great help to Toby in the kitchen serving us our food and ensuring everyone’s glasses were regularly refilled. He was happy to pose for photos and even cleaned up the mess caused by a leaking water dispenser, which was such a help! Would highly recommend and use again! Vicky

Toby was fantastic- very polite, courteous, arrived on time and worked to our timings for dinner. He also cleaned up after himself, washed all pots and pans and loaded the dishwasher which was much appreciated! The food was delicious- special mention to the duck main and the chocolate torte pudding which everyone gave rave reviews about! We would most definitely use the service (and Toby) again, and would without question recommend to friends! Thank you so much!

We were let down by another chef at the last minute, and DindIndulge saved the day by finding Ahmed overnight. Bless him, he drove down from London to North Cornwall to cook for us and gave us a beautiful meal / fabulous party, for which we will be forever grateful! Thank you to both DI and Ahmed...

Wow! Our chef, \'G\' was just brilliant. We were celebrating a special family birthday and having our own chef for the evening made for an amazing experience. The meal was absolutely stunning. G prepared and cooked everything meticulously and he was on hand to answer any questions and nothing was too much trouble. The end to end experience has been absolutely superb and I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much!!

After the initial stress of the uncertainty around the booking from an organisational perspective we were relieved and delighted by Stefan’s skill and professionalism.

Bogdan is not only a fabulous chef but also an extremely nice man, was a pleasure to have him in my house for the evening. We will be seeing him again!

Charlotte is very pleasant to have around and listens to our requirements and adapts as necessary.

Extremely large portions and served over three hours. Could be less quantity and served over shorter time period - we hadn’t realised each of the items on the bbq menu we chose was served as a plated meal with quite long periods between serving. We had expected more of a relaxed sharing style for a bbq menu. Still, very tasty!

Kris and Mike were incredible hunks in trunks! They completed our hen party (of 26 ladies!) perfectly, they were such lovely guys, attentive, funny and handsome. They both ensured that the bride and all of the hens have a fabulous time. I whole heartedly recommend using Hunks in Trunks, if you are unsure about booking, JUST DO IT! Our chef had difficulty in finding our house but that was no surprising it was tucked away, however that did not detract from the evening and he was a most polite and professional person. He left the kitchen spotless. Congtaulations it was an excellent evening.

Quite possibly the best food I’ve evet eaten ! Gee (or Gi- not aure how you spell it) our chef was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. He was very friendly and he made sure we were happy with everything throughout the evening. The experience was really special and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I would definitely recommend to anybody who was thinking of booking - it’s really something special and unique and the food was ro die for! Clean plates all round!
