Our private dining was booked on Fri 30th Sept in york. Sarah the chef arrived on time and was very professional. I received a call from the chef a few hours before to advise of time of arrival and it was to the schedule. The food the cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved every dish cooked as we liked. We had the most beautiful steak cooked and the fish dish was stunning. The presentation was beautiful and so many of us took photos. It was so relaxing to dine along with friends with the hassle of cooking or cleaning up. Sarah timed each course really well and was a pleasure to have in our house. She was left to cook for us and we didn\'t even know she was here . Everything about the evening was perfect. Sarah was amazing chef. I will definitely be booking again. My only feedback is that there could have been more of a gap between courses, it felt a little rushed at time. Other than that it was a perfect night.

Mr Fielding goes on proving that he can handle any kind of meal, from the very elaborate to the comparatively simple. Last night we had some wonderful food, including the lightest puff pastry we have ever eaten, tender steak and delicious vegetables. Mr Fielding, as ever, was friendly, helpful and professional. We could not be happier.

We had a lovely evening and the food was served beautifully. However we felt the flavour could be improved and the portions were rather small so could we thought you could offer some bread or something alongside.

Really loved the whole experience. Was relaxed and friendly, chef was happy making themselves comfortable in the kitchen and equally happy to have us pop in to watch and see what was going on. Lovely clean kitchen at the end felt extra special. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a special occasion.

Andy was great - very polite and friendly and the food looked and tasted great. We had a sudden medical emergency which unfortunately cut the meal short but he was very understanding and left us with the dessert to have later / the next day. Please pass on our thanks to him.

Andrej was amazing, they were 100% professional but approachable. Everything was beautifully presented and nothing felt rushed. They left the kitchen spotless! They were communicative the afternoon leading up to the event and I would highly recommend.

The whole service from booking, and arranging our event to the evening itself was amazing. It was a wedding anniversary dinner for our parents with six people. Our chef was superb. Turned up in plenty of time, needed very little help and just got on with the service. The quality and quantity of food was outstanding and delicious. The kitchen was spotless when they left. Would highly recommend to anyone and can’t wait to do this again.

Kriss our chef was superb. He had cooked for us 2 days previously and we thought it would be impossible to match that amazing meal but he definitely did. Unfortunately our chef was sent the normal menu and not the Vegan details. One of our guests was served the butternut squash with cheese as they were not updated of the vegan requirement. And am now concerned her starter was also non-vegan as the original contained cream but this was not considered until after the main came therefore she ate it all. It was specified clearly on my menu and the menu confirmed the day before about the vegan requirement so I’m confused how this happened. We took photos of the other course but not to vegan/vegetarian as I returned it to the kitchen immediately after we realised. I told the chef straight after the course that there was cheese on it so not Vegan and he apologised and showed me the menu he was sent which was the non Vegan version. He tried to fix the dish and send back. I gave him a €20 tip as I felt bad for him as he seemed very flustered the whole time and said he wasn’t aware Vegan was required. We were having a cocktail class when he arrived so I took him to the kitchen and left him to prepare assuming it was all sorted. Chef arrived 30 minutes later than agreed so may not have had much time to review things before starting. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware we needed to set the table with cutlery so was running around the kitchen trying to find forks as the chef used all of them to prep the food. Sadly the starters couldn’t be enjoyed hot because of this but that is likely an error on my part. The oven was also left on when he left which I unfortunately didn’t realise until later.

We have never before enjoyed the services of a private chef but we will definitely repeat it…… Quite simply one of the best meals our group have ever tasted (and we have dined at some very famous restaurants previously). The chef was extremely professional and very friendly , the quality of food was superb and timing was perfect. It was like bringing the very best restaurant to our home. Absolutely fabulous and 5/5 for everything.

Inges was extremely professional and a very kind person who went above and beyond. The food was delicious, every course was served with an explanation of the dish and she even brought some birthday candles for the dessert! I would highly recommend this service.
