We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal by chef Jamie and he left everything clean and tidy. Highlight was the dessert - treacle tart. Would recommend Dineindulge for a special occasion.

Our chef Peter was absolutely brilliant he explained everything clearly and kept us updated with timings and was very accommodating to our needs. All communication before was great, and the process for booking & selecting menus, making any amends was really good and the team were really helpful. The dinner itself was delicious and beautifully presented. Our chef was very polite and professional. The kitchen was left spotless! However, the dinner felt a little rushed, and the 3 courses for 13 were served and finished within 1 hour. It felt like it could have been more relaxed and didn\'t need to rush from 1 course straight to the next.

Our chef, Raymond Thompson, was outstanding and gave us an exceptional night of delicious food.

Really lovely experience! I think the dessert could have done with some cream or ice cream the chocolate one was quite dry. If I was just being thinking of something for improvement. Overall really lovely experience and great chef. Thank you

The food was lovely and the chef was great. The only negative is that the portions were too big and came too quickly, meaning we were over full by the end of the meal and couldn’t really eat the cheese. The meal was booked to start at 8pm, but didn’t start until 8.20pm. This would have been fine as we were happily having drinks, but it did seem to contribute to the speed at which the courses were delivered. It was still a very enjoyable experience and the chef was great, we were just left feeling too full.

We cannot recommend dine indulge enough! Due to our grandchild being due we decided to have a family meal at home for my husbands 60th birthday. I found dineindulge online after looking at other private chefs who were very expensive. The whole experience was painless from booking the event (at quite short notice) to choosing the menu. On the day the chef turned up with everything needed & quietly got on with preparing the food in the kitchen. The food was lovely & my kitchen was spotless at the end! The whole experience was amazing & made my husbands birthday really special!

The private chef experience was fantastic. It was a very special evening as we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary in beautiful Provence with three generations of our family. Our chef was lovely, singing to himself and creating wonderful smells from the kitchen. The atmosphere and the food was delicious, but the sharing bites and one of the puddings was not what we ordered. We had spent a long time choosing the food and sending choices around to our guests. There was supposed to be four sharing bites for each of our eleven guests. However, we had fifteen which did not share with eleven of us! They were tasty but far too big, and as we were nibbling (with no plates) with a glass of champagne, two people spilt on their dresses - and it wasn’t the children. My favourite dessert is tart tatin, which is why we chose it. The pudding we were served was again tasty, but it was cooked pears with tiny biscuits through it and a larger biscuit on the top. I had informed you about my daughters allergy to strawberries. She can have a reaction to just a smear of strawberry jam. So we were surprised the chef brought strawberries to dress the dessert. He had used raspberries for hers. We had two doctors with us but we did not want to use them! I would suggest that it would have been better to use raspberries for all of us to ensure there was no cross over. Overall we loved the experience, we were just disappointed in the above. We have been asked to feedback to the owner of the property in Provence as this was the first time a private chef had been used here. ( although Rick Stein filmed here for his Secret France series) We will feedback positively as despite our disappointments, we loved the experience. Thank you
