Whilst Georgina did her best, it was disappointing that she hadn’t been briefed on what wines went with what courses. I would have expected that when we bought the wine pairing package that this would have been provided.

The crime brûlée was a disaster. Thick just under the caramelised top and thin and runny underneath. Profuse apologies from Nigel.

Ian was brilliant! He was friendly as soon as he walked in! He made the occasion extra special! We felt we got to know him during the evening and him us - which made the experience even better! Superb experience. Will definitely want to experience this again. Chef Magic was our chef for the evening and he was fantastic. I approve!

Unfortunately, due to difficulty in finding our venue Raymond arrived 35 minutes late, so was always up against the clock. In addition our venue had an AGA on which the heat levels were variable. He worked really hard throughout the evening to overcome this issue.
