It was a great meal but I wanted to mention something, which is not a reflection of rhe chef and host on the evening. I wonder if it would be a nice idea to ask guests in advance how much interaction they would like with the team. We as a group are pretty informal, are welcoming and like getting to know people so would have really enjoyed a bit more conversation with them. I don\'t know if you could incorporate something like that into the booking form? Just an idea. Thanks for everything, Antonia

From start to finish it was an amazing evening! Our chef Ian arrived talking us through the 48 hours of food prep he had done before arriving, giving tasters of the ingredients while he cooked adding to the experience of having your own private chef. Starter main and desert tasted fantastic. Provided complimentary apéritifs between causes and wine complimenting the main courses. Thanks again to Ian for an brilliant evening with exceptional food. We will definitely ask for Ian again in Ex23. Have a night off, stay in and hire a chef!

It was our first experience of this, and all 4 of us thought he was terrific. As well as being professional, he was pleasant and engaging, which helps make an evening more entertaining.

Great service from start to finish. All the food tasted great and was presented well. And then having a spotlessly clean kitchen at the end was the icing on the cake!

Calamari dish was tasty however too chorizo almost no calamari, duck was excellent, steaks ribeye were excellent, sea bream was very enjoyable and well done,Creme brûlée underwhelming. Chocolate terrine was very good nice and rich. Overall a great experience would do again

The chef was professional, warm and approachable. She arrived in perfect timing to prepare and serve the meals. The chef was outstanding and she made the occasion very special. The meals came out at a perfect pace, she took the time talk us through the meals and advised on drink recommendations for the evening. The chef left the kitchen clean & tidy as she found it.

Rafik was great, very professional, everything was on time and he left the kitchen tidier than before!

It was a shame that the chef arrived late and that meal ended up being an hour late, but he was extremely apologetic as he had to come from Shrewsbury. We got back on track though and the food and service was very good. Well done. Would definitely use again. Thanks

Peter was very friendly and attentive, his food was superb in presentation and tasted delicious, we had a fantastic meal. Everything was cleared up in the kitchen and the dishwasher loaded and switched on.

The chef was punctual, really friendly and served us an amazing meal. We would definitely use their service again!

Unfortunately there was a mix up with the gluten free element of the evening..one of the guests has coeliac disease and MUST NOT have gluten. I had discussed this at length with the team in the office prior to booking and had been reassured that any dish could be made gluten free. Sadly we had two issues on the night. The canapes were not gluten free. The chef kindly lifted some of the canapes off the toast to make them gluten free, but for most coeliacs this isn\'t ok as any crumbs remaining will contaminate and cause symptoms. Also, the desert for the GF guest was changed (I think to make something easier to make GF), which was disappointing for our guest. Having said all that the food was delicious and our chef was friendly, personable and a pleasure to have in the house. On the whole it was a good experience and one which I would like to repeat.

Rafique was a superb chef who made our Mum’s 70th birthday dinner a fantastic experience. Rafique was very personable and his introductions to each course were a really nice touch. Food was extremely tasty and delightfully presented. Overall, we’d highly recommend the Dine Indulge experience, particularly Rafique.
