We recently had a dinner party for 23 people at Villa Farm, York. Our chef called beforehand to introduce himself which we thought was a really lovely touch. He was punctual in arriving and really friendly. The food was all brilliant - we had a tapas starter and paella main course which was all really professionally presented and tasted fantastic. A number of the guests commented on the high standard of food. The chef tidied up after himself and even vacuum packed the leftovers for us to take away. We had a couple of dietary requirements which were checked on the day and catered for. 10/10.

Main course (duck) was a little tough Chef friendly and unobtrusive - good combination!

Was so accommodating as we were all late but the food was unbelievable and would highly recommend. Great value for a posh meal in your own house. Will be using again!

A very positive experience!!

The menu wasn’t exactly what we had chosen, ie. dessert was a pre purchased grocery standard chocolate cake rather than being a chocolate orange tart with avacado cream as paid for. The starter was maybe less than we expected too. Mains were great.

Despite the dishwasher breaking down the chef ensured the kitchen was left clean & tidy.

Contacted in advance to apologise for being late (understandable for distance travelled) made up the time at the end. Extremely friendly - easy on the eye. Loved the My vagina is game.

Extremely polite, very thorough set up and clean up, really friendly, food was delightful and flavoursome. Highly recommended.

Chef was very professional but not very engaging. Our fillet steaks were all well done and we weren’t asked how we wanted them cooked which was disappointing as it was the part we were most looking forward to. Desserts were not of the same standard as other courses.

Richard was a fabulous chef who made us all feel so relaxed and we didn\'t need to lift a finger! Will definitely use him again.

Our experience was great. Martin was very professional and his food was sublime. He kept himself to himself but that may be due to the 18 girls in sequins shouting and singing!! He provided a great service and left the kitchen absolutely spotless. We would highly recommend martin and the company to anyone wishing to sit back and relax at home but have a lovely meal
